HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO LIVE AT THE HOME?
The program is free with the exception of medical expenses for the residents and their children. However, we do ask residents who have an income to make a monthly donation.  Chrysalis is supported by donations from individuals, businesses, churches and fundraisers.  We do not accept any governmental funding in order to freely share the gospel of Christ.

WHAT'S THE PROCESS TO BECOME A RESIDENT?
If you are interested in becoming a resident, click on the "Contact Us" button above.  Call us to get answers to your questions and then download an application which includes more information and house guidelines.  Once you return the application, the staff will determine if we will be able to help.  Emergency residency will also be considered.

CAN A RESIDENT LEAVE IF SHE WANTS?
Yes.  However, we prefer for a resident to stay as long as it takes for her to make significant progress toward her goals.

WHAT IF I NEED HELP BUT CANNOT COME TO THE HOME?
Please, still contact us.  Out-of-home mentoring is available.  We also have information on many other ministries which may be right for you.  If nothing else, contacting us will allow us to pray for you. 
WHAT CAN I DO TO HELP?

  • Contact us to see what our current needs are for volunteers at the Home.  

  • You may use your skills to help with the maintenance of the home.

  • You may choose to take our one-day training to be involved with the residents in a teaching or counseling capacity.

  • Let us know if we can give a presentation in your church or organization.

  • Share information about Chrysalis with women you know who may need this type of home.

  • Give financially.  Donations are critical for operating a Christ-centered Home.  Consider supporting Chrysalis on a monthly or one-time basis.
